The "Center of public preservation of agricultural biodiversity" of Comune di Bisacquino, funded under the PSR Sicily - Measure 214 / 2A - "support for the conservation of genetic resources in agriculture".
OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT
Provide farmers with species, almost extinct, unique for their organoleptic and nutritional value.
SPECIES
12 species are represented: 10 arboreal and 2 herbaceous.
THE ACCESSIONS
45 accessions, identified in Sicily, are stored in our field of mother plants.
